Over the past year, the crew at Diamond K has been working hard to increase the production capacity at the Richfield, Utah production plant.

“Our business continues to grow. As retailers and growers look for more efficient ways to use water and reduce inputs, while still increasing crop production, they are turning to Diamond K and we are expanding to meet the need,” said Kris Allred, General Manager of Diamond K.

“This latest round of upgrades will increase our production and bagging capacity by 30%. To accommodate the increased production we’ve also added an additional 10,000 Sq Ft of warehouse space. To support the growth at the plant we have increased our mine capacity by adding additional mining equipment, doubling the mine’s daily output. These major improvements are in an effort to ensure Diamond K’ continued growth and that we meet all our customer’s needs,” added Allred.

High fertilizer costs, reduced water resources, and poor water quality is driving agronomist and farmers to review their programs and find ways to be more efficient. Diamond K products help growers improve water quality and its ability to penetrate into the soil. In addition, their high quality highly soluble nutrients are affordable and efficient allowing growers to capitalize on better crops leading to more profitability.
